Reward Points Terms & Conditions

Reward Points Program

The Calcutta Music House Reward Points Program (“Program“) is designed to reward customers for purchases made through www.calcuttamusic.in.

Participation in the Program is voluntary and governed by these Terms & Conditions. By participating, customers agree to these Terms, as amended from time to time.

1. Eligibility

The Reward Points Program is available only to:

• Registered customers with an active Calcutta Music House account.
• Customers who are logged into their account while placing an order.

Please Note:

• Guest checkout orders are not eligible to earn or redeem Reward Points.

2. Earning Reward Points

Customers earn:

1 Reward Point for every ₹10 spent on eligible product purchases.

Reward Points are calculated only on the product value.

The following charges do not qualify for Reward Points:

• Shipping Charges
• Shipping Insurance
• Gift Cards (if introduced)
• Taxes (if applicable)
• Any other non-product charges

Important: Reward Points are credited only after the order has been successfully delivered.

3. Reward Point Value

Reward Points can be redeemed at the following rate:

100 Reward Points = ₹10

Example

Reward Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

4. Minimum Order Value for Redemption

Reward Points can only be redeemed on orders where the product value is ₹5,000 or above (excluding shipping and other charges).

Orders below ₹5,000 are not eligible for Reward Point redemption.

5. Maximum Redemption Per Order

Customers may redeem Reward Points up to 10% of the eligible product value of an order.

Example 1

Product Value: ₹10,000

• Maximum Discount Allowed: ₹1,000
• Reward Points Required: 10,000 Points

Even if a customer has more than 10,000 Reward Points, only 10,000 Points may be redeemed on this order.

Example 2

Product Value: ₹5,000

• Maximum Discount Allowed: ₹500
• Reward Points Required: 5,000 Points

6. Shipping Charges

Reward Points cannot be used to pay for:

• Shipping Charges
• Shipping Insurance
• Additional Service Charges

Reward Points may only be applied toward the eligible product value.

7. Reward Point Expiry

Reward Points remain valid for 12 months from the date they are credited.

After the expiry period:

• Expired Reward Points will be automatically removed.
• Expired Reward Points cannot be reinstated.

8. Cancellation, Returns & Refunds

If an order is:

• Cancelled
• Returned
• Refunded

then any Reward Points earned from that purchase will be reversed.

If Reward Points were redeemed during the purchase, appropriate adjustments may also be made to the customer’s Reward Point balance.

9. Non-Transferability

Reward Points:

• Cannot be transferred to another account.
• Cannot be gifted.
• Cannot be sold.
• Cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Cannot be converted into bank credit.

10. Combination with Other Offers

Unless specifically stated by Calcutta Music House, Reward Points cannot be combined with:

• Coupon Codes
• Promotional Vouchers
• Special Discount Campaigns
• Other Reward Programs

11. Fraudulent Activity

Calcutta Music House reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or adjust Reward Points if fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity is detected, including but not limited to:

• Creating multiple customer accounts.
• Self-referrals (if referral programs are introduced).
• Manipulating purchases to earn additional Reward Points.
• Misusing promotional offers.
• Chargebacks or payment disputes.
• Any activity deemed abusive by Calcutta Music House.

Accounts found engaging in fraudulent activity may be suspended without prior notice.

12. Program Modifications

Calcutta Music House reserves the right to:

• Modify the Reward Points Program.
• Change the earning rate.
• Change redemption values.
• Change Reward Point validity periods.
• Suspend or discontinue the Program at any time.

Any such changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated through the official website.

13. No Cash Value

Reward Points are promotional benefits offered solely at the discretion of Calcutta Music House.

Reward Points:

• Are not legal tender.
• Have no cash value.
• Cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Cannot be withdrawn.
• Cannot be pledged or assigned.

14. Technical Errors

Calcutta Music House reserves the right to correct any Reward Point balance resulting from:

• Technical errors
• System failures
• Software bugs
• Calculation mistakes
• Unauthorized manipulation

Incorrectly credited Reward Points may be removed or adjusted without prior notice.
